Reminder to calibrate spindle-based Rival AXS power meter
The recommendation from SRAM is that the spindle-based Rival AXS power meter is calibrated daily or before the first ride of the day. However, I almost never remember to do this.
It would be very nice if the app recognized the first connection of the day and reminded me to calibrate the power meter. This could be an option in the app, which plays a beep or two with a notification to remind me.

Forgot my phone reminder and lock the shifters when phone isn't nearby
I'd like the shifters to shift into high gear if I forget my phone. There are 2 really good justifications for this feature:
1.) I never want to ride without my phone.
2.) An attempt to steal the bike would be much harder to get away quickly.If the app/shifter had an option to shift into high gear when the phone isn't present, it would act as a reminder to get my phone.
It would also make it much harder to steal the bike (lock the bike into high gear until the phone is nearby).

The app should remember battery levels (perhaps show the aging of the battery level)
The app should remember the battery level from the last connect - allow me to see it days later (show the aging of that level or a timestamp of the battery level). It's frustrating that I cannot see the battery level after component disconnects from BlueTooth.

Notify through app notifications that a firmware update is available
Just like unread email messages shows a notification on my phone, I should get a notification when a new firmware version is released.

Show the position of the AXS buttons when the App is asking me to press it.
There is a very nice graphic in the manual showing the location of all the AXS buttons. Why not show that graphic (or an option to show the graphic) when the app asks me to press those buttons for firmware updates.

Battery Level notifications in the app
Battery Level notifications should occur as notifications in the app. That is, I'd like to know when the battery level reaches 20% and again at 10%, and 5% on the notifications list (like unread messages .

configure controls
The configure controls bar is hard to see and doesn't stand out enough to a new user. I kept trying to connect to the derailleur/seatpost to configure the controls where the only option is the update the firmware. It would also be nice if after adding the derailleur or seatpost to a bike the app would tell you that to pair a controller you do it just with the physical devices and that the app is not needed.

Report Slope in ride files
Report the factory and current sloped in .fit files for eSports purposes. Mediators need to verify that your power numbers are legitimate and this data will help do that.

Battery identification and condition
As many of AXS users, we have several batteries, for each AXS component plus spares.
It would be nice to have an electronic method to identify which battery out of our inventory we are using on each components, since we constantly mix older batteries with newly purchased ones. Just to identify which batteries might be aging or underperform and it's time to decommission.Also, the system should run periodically some kind of a health check on each battery and assign it a status, to help understand its condition and how well it can hold charge over time.

Pick a subset of gearing like 3-11, long press to exceed the limits
Normal rapid button presses would be limited to 3-11, a long press would get me into the big ring, once in the big ring the upper limit would be disabled until I get below another ring like 5. Currently I have to rapid shift till I get to big ring then drop down one gear. Same with small rings, rapid shifts would stop at 3, long press would get me to 2, once in 2 short presses would shift up or downone gear at a time, if I go past 5 then my lower limit of 3 gets re-enabled

Make managing multiple bikes faster! Maybe build the bike and add components without a bluetooth search? Only search when bike opened.
Having multiple bikes on the same profile really makes everything slow down. (Android 11 Pixel 4). Perhaps an option to build bike and components either manually (entering bike and serial numbers), or via a bluetooth search as the beginning step of adding a bike would help. After bikes built manually, the user could then select connect to components already there.

Multi Shift should avoid 1st Gear
I’d like an option to make Multi Shift stop at 2nd Gear (2nd lowest). My Eagle XX1 52t is good in some scenarios, but almost never necessary. I find when I’m trying to shift down for a short punchy climb I end up in that lowest gear, and then need to shift up one gear. It would be nice if multishift could move me up to 2nd gear but require a short press to pop down into that big 52t.

Sequential shift 3 gears
Allow a 3 gear sequential shift option. I find 2 gears just not quite enough for my shifting behaviours.
