Make it so that your shifting configuration is not lost when a battery is removed/replaced.

Enhanced Mode shift settings now remain enabled after removing and re-installing the derailleur batteries on firmware version 2.7.3 or higher.

I have a problem in my AXS app in that it loses its assignment for the left controller/shifter to downshift. It simply shows 'unassigned'. However, everything on the bike works fine. And, all enhanced modes on the AXS app and bike line up perfectly and all work perfectly, nothing is lost when I replace the batteries. But the left shifter assignment on the AXS app is lost every time I close the app and then reopen it. The app is the latest version, all component firmware is updated to the latest and I've re-pared the whole system two times. The problem on the left shifter persists.

The problem still persists, I already updated to 2.8.1 on my xx1 eagle axs but configuration on multi shift is still lost when removing and replacing battery, please fix this!

Ok it's understood ;)
other subject: since the time we've been waiting for the battery percentage, there's not much progress.. and the time of using since the last recharg. I think it’s no complicated but very useful.
Thank’s

2.7.3 is Firmware for road (RED and Force derailleurs), Eagle was not effected by this because it did not have Enhanced Mode shift settings. Multishift settings are not lost when removing and re-installing batteries on Eagle AXS derailleurs.

Warum sind die Multishifteinstellungen nach den Akkuwechsel jedesmal weg?
-
seph369@yahoo.com commented
I would like that every time I remove the battery on my xx1 axs rd, my preferred settings on multishift won’t go back to default

Is there a chance that the RD can remember the settings, a little frustrating that I reset my settings. For example setting up compensating and sequential

I understand that the hardware has no backup capacitor for the settings, OK.
BUT a software backup and restore function should be possible without problems in the app :) This would be very very nice!

Compensation lost after deconnecting battery?

nikojnj@gmail.com commented
When I setup the drivetrain I put the compensation mode of two cogs and that just work for one ride
In the next ride I change the front chainring and the rear don’t compensate the two cogs what can I do ? -

I cannot get back into SETTINGS even though I am connected to the app. I can get back into my COMPENSATING mode by holding the button on the right eTap lever after a battery charge. You turn it off by holding the button on the left eTAP lever. Still frustrated not being able to get back into SETTINGS.
