Issues with TyreWiz connect IQ App
Tyrewiz does not reliably connect to Garmin 30 series head units using the TyreWiz Connect IQ App.

High on my wish list regarding TyreWiz support on the Garmin:
- Better reliability
- Device low pressure notifications (visual *and* accoustic) - independent of data field being included on current data screen
- One decimal place for pressures set in bar (instead of 3 right now)
- A TyreWiz glance to check tyre pressure on newer Garmin devices without having to start the AXS app or an activity
- Generally a close look at how Hammerhead implemented TyreWiz support (e.g. a neat graphic field) -

Following up on my prior comment: I take it back. The ConnectIQ Tyrewiz app is *really* unreliable these days. I have to delete the field and restore it and perform superstitious rituals to sometimes get it to work. In conjunction with reports that the app doesn't work with 1040-series at all, this is a big problem. SRAM, please update your Tyrewiz app!

I'm not sure how this works, but it turns out the ConnectIQ app can (sometimes) pick up tyrewiz sensors on its own, or you can program up to four pairs of pairing codes in the ConnectIQ app from the Garmin Connect app. It seems that manually entering these codes will reliably get you a connection when leaving them blank may or may not work.

Could also be a Garmin issue. I've had to restart my Garmin to see the TyreWiz on more than one occasion.
This is in addition to the battery terminals needing to be bent on the TyreWiz to ensure it stays on.
