Mnt Bike AXS Shifter
Not necessarily an app idea, but the actual shifter is extremely difficult to maneuver. After riding over 30 years, I can’t seem to get my thumb to do what it’s supposed to do and feel ‘normal.’ I’ve moved the shifter all around the bar and just can’t get it to feel right. Would you be able to manipulate the lever so there’s a ‘throw’ feeling to it (like Shimano di2)?

Strong agreement. Improved for me by rotating shifter forward to full extent, but it's only a partial fix. For me it's too close, i.e. too far outboard on the bar with the brake lever already a long way inboard and there's way too much bending back angle on the thumb.
The way the shifter is moulded and pivoted invites you to rest the thumb in it and rock it either way for shifts.
Adjustment doesn't make my thumb fit, so I hover it and tap the edges to shift.
It appears the design is centred on a hand much smaller than mine, but mine is quite normal, for a male.
Perhaps there should be two "sizes" available?
