I lost a complete bike (name, picture and settings) in the app (no idea why, it happened only once and only one of two bikes Force and Red).
It would be nice to have an option to save and load the bikes incl. all settings.
This would solve also the issue that the settings of shift-type has to be set manually after battery change. Just press load after battery change and go riding :)

At the moment you have to check what maybe got lost and consider what was the setting in detail.
