Firmware Release notes
Nice to have release notes for a published firmware. A summary for what has changed or being fixed. So end user could choose between go or no go
Thanks

AXS component firmware release notes are now available in AXS Mobile App version 1.6.7 and higher. Firmware release notes can be viewed by connecting to the component, and navigating to the component part detail page (as seen in the attached photo).

I have a problem very similar as described by robin.nelson7@icloud.com. In my case it is the rear derailleur which asked me various times to update the firmware to 2.34.1, although it already was on 2.34.1. After some time I wasn't even able to wake up the component any more. When pressing the button on the component it doesn't even blink any more. Of course I tried to change to a definetly working battery.
Is there any chance to save my rear derailleur? -

My front deraileur (SRAM RED FD) is updated to Firmare version 2.34.1, but has stopped working.. Rear derailleur works normally. On the app there is an exclamation mark.
Pressing the AXS button results in a green flashing light. If I select RED FD it sometimes takes me through to the update screen and asks me to install 2.34.1. I have done this several times, it says it has updated successfully, but the problem remains. Please advise how to remedy this.

Hi, my name is Milco from Italy. I would like to know when a new software version for Sram Red Etap AXS Shifters will be available. Now I get 2.7.3 version on shifters and 2.17.0 on rear/front derailleur. This software difference causes me some problems because, sometimes, the rear derailleur does not recognize the commands given by the levers, so I have to take out the battery and put it back and it is a bit stressful especially for a group that costs more than 2600 euros.
Sure of your kind reply, I extend cordial greetings.

Last update has made my Red AXS rear mech refuse to wake up until the battery is removed and reinstalled during a ride. A rollback feature would be very useful as this is extremely annoying and presumably those of us affected will be stuck with this issue for months until a new firmware is released.

Since update my rear mech stops responding. I have to remove and re-install battery to restore operation.
This happens multiple times per ride. Is there anyway to go back to previous revision? -

Just tried downloading the latest software/firmware for my Eagle AXS XX1 derailleur and controller 4 times with zero success.
So, for starters I had a full verizon signal.
Bluetooth was turned on.
Had to awaken the derailleur and controller for the app to find them with no success so I moved from 4ft to 1 foot from the items. Again no success. Now the SRAM app is prompting me to "search" for them. Did that and they were found. Again tried to download software/firmware to the derailleur and controller. For the derailleur it took 5 minutes until it lost connection. (keep in mind my cell phone is 1 foot away from the derailleur) So try once again to download and this time it works. The controller was a more painful event which turned in to trying to download supposedly "new firmware" but it never did anything at all. No download took place for the controller after 12 minutes of trying and now I must say I extremely fucking pissed.
I should have known this would be an issue with an app rating of 2.5 stars. I've even had the folks from Worldwide Cyclery (where I bought it) on the phone with me trying to get this to work with no success so I figured I'd leave a comment because that seem to get your attention quicker then an email.
At this time in the world there are plenty of shit companies that sell an amazing story but can't back it up with the product and I figured a huge name like SRAM wouldn't sell the mtb community out or they'd never have become so sought after and trusted unlike Facebook, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and WellsFargo just to name few.
To whomever receives my comment, please pass it on to your supervisor or supervisors, supervisor. I'm looking to fix the issue I'm having with downloading firmware/software.
I've already selected Shimano's full XTR groupset for my bike but just haven't clicked the "Pay" button yet.
Patiently waiting for your response.Thank you very much
Brian

Be nice to know what exactly SRAM is trying to improve on each firmware update.

It's weird and frustrating to see an update is available but not understand what will be changed.

It's weird and frustrating to see an update is available but not understand what will be changed. Every decent company explains what updates will mean. Why has SRAM resisted this??
