Battery identification and condition
As many of AXS users, we have several batteries, for each AXS component plus spares.
It would be nice to have an electronic method to identify which battery out of our inventory we are using on each components, since we constantly mix older batteries with newly purchased ones. Just to identify which batteries might be aging or underperform and it's time to decommission.
Also, the system should run periodically some kind of a health check on each battery and assign it a status, to help understand its condition and how well it can hold charge over time.

Yes, this would so help when buying secondhand axs with battery. I've just bagged myself what was a cheap listed as new power pack kit with 2 batteries and I am just hoping they are new because the seller was very quick to accept my low offer and the box was abit tatty so I would loved toof had a way to check the actual condition of the batteries and there charging history

Agreed, there has to be some type of battery serialization in the hardware (EEPROM) which would allow the app to identify the specific battery which is currently installed. All of the battery telemetry/metrics should be available to save in AXS app. This would give most people a better prediction, based on their typical rides, of how long a battery will really last. All of that marketing junk about 'up to a month of battery life' is BS -- people expect that charging a battery is a requirement -- we do it with our phones every day -- what you can do is use battery metrics to give a better prediction of when charging is required and how long you'll go based on recent rides.
