   I have a Garmin 1040 and a Karoo 2. The Garmin gave me a critical rear derailleur battery warning, the Karoo (i.e. SRAM) did not. Obviously the derailleur has and can send this info and should, both to the in-ride Karoo as well as the offline Apps & Web.
