Already thinking of switching back to manual as I always know I’ll be in the gear I need. For a product of this nature and expense, there should be an auto alignment by cog/gear upon user request or when out of alignment is detected as a result of the derailleur instability and derailleur hanger adjustments cannot be fixed 50 miles from nowhere. I’ve kept my old XX1 and grip shift for this very reason.
These fuses will make AXS viable for professional use and convince casual riders it’s worth the cost.

When your derailleur gets bent 100 miles from you trailhead, good luck aligning it perfectly without tools ( some of us are way over the hill). As far as using with other cassettes (not Sram), this is an opportunity for Sram to expand their derailleur market share.
