    Due to the actual components lack of intelligence I guess the only possible way is something like to have an alert stating "hey, your stolen bike ttansmission/powermeter/whatever is updating at the following location..." . Then you could have something like a location based on
    the app data . Additionally sram could have Garmin to work closely and have some serial numbers flaged/blacklisted and as soon as a pairing occured some action could take place, like location, Garmin user flagged at Garmin and possibly shared with sram (sharing user data will definitely have legal issues) .
    As an IT specialist I guess there's a lot to do but all comes with a cost... And once again, I don't know how different countries and different laws will deal with that.
