Trim Option per Gear
Trimming is currently only possible simultanously for all gears. This sometimes leads to an optimal setup e.g. at lower gears while upper gears are suboptimal and would need additional trimming. Introducing a Trim-option per gear would give a perfect setup for the complete cassette.
If the derailleur hanger is non-damaged and the frame is designed to industry frame-fit specifications, trim position should not need to be tuned for individual cogs. That work is carefully completed by SRAM engineers as part of the cassette and rear derailleur design process.

I honestly do not believe that SRAM engineers have tested or checked the geometry of every bike frame in the industry that SRAM sells it's components to. If so, Sram wouldn't have so many requests for this particular function. I believe there are about 4 or 5 different requests for a way to trim/adjust each cog on just this forum let alone a few on every other road/mtb forum on the NET.
That is such a crock!!

What kind of BS answer is this from Mr. Admin there. on his high horse, with BS answers.
I have a brand new bike full axs xx1 setup and my gear shifts are never perfect because of lack of micro adjust per gear. It's software so just do it sram or your gear will fade into obscurity. Simple as that.

This is something absolutely needed to ensure a proper flexibility and exclude the noise on middle cogs

There will soon be a new Chinese manufacturer selling an electronic shifting system with this feature. Personally, I will be happy to switch over. The only reason SRAM refuses to implement this is to lock customers into buying SRAM cassettes exclusively. It’s a slap in the face.

I really don't believe the administrator gave this answer and closed the vote.
Below are the statements supporting the introduction of this solution, along with its logical explanation.
I have the impression that people from Sram are not coping with this topic, hence the situation.
I am asking the IT Sram team to introduce this solution as soon as possible. Please, unblock this thread and give AXS users a vote for this project. -

I think many bikes that has been used for a while don't have 100% straight mech hangers. Especially on a multi-day-enduro-trip I often run in situations where the hanger gets a strike and I have to continue the tour with a slightly bent hanger. In this case it would be a perfect option to have micro adjustment per gear.
In fact, at least for me, this would be one of the main advantages to switch my bikes to AXS. -

I just got a Stumpy Pro with AXS - my first AXS bike. I assumed that the trim micro adjust settings would be done by each gear. I was disappointed to learn that this is a global setting. The whole point of electrifying things is to overcome the mechanical limitations. SRAM seems to be missing out on the true potential of electronic shifting. I suggest adding an "expert" mode to the app as this may be too complicated for some users but it would help to address issues for the more advanced user. the cost would be storing an extra 11 trim setting - practically free.

I don’t have any mileage on mine yet. I might send it back because of this. I need individual micro adjusts per gear. No frames are the same, the rider(s) weight(s) all change the chain length on full suspension. So to get absolute no running of the chain on the surrounding COGs, you would need slight adjustments on individual gears, that’s the bottom line. It’s firmware, just SEND IT OVER!!!!

I would like to second this! I can get noise free from top and bottom gears, but the middle gears have a slight noise. Sounds like it’s rubbing. This is with xx1 axs derailleur Nd xx1 cassette.

because there's no tolerance on each cog in a 12s cassette -right?

I too just purchased an AXS GX derailleur and figured the micro adjustment would be for each gear. I thought It would be pretty much a "no brainer" but I guess I was wrong. A firmware update would be easy. This Admin definitely has not had much experience with different frames that have been designed "to industry standards". Heck, he/she is probably just a customer service rep and not remotely anywhere near a SRAM mechanic.
Do you know what is funny, this is in the top 10 as far as amount of votes and, as was previously mentioned, the voting was shut down but other topics with more votes are still open ... Very curious.

Bought myself a Giant TCR Advanced 1 disc with SRAM Force 12 sp. groupset (factory installed). Like other respondents mentioned already some cogs make a lot of noise, strangely enough starting from 16 downwards to 28. Micro adjusting doesn't solve the problem entirely because it influences other gears starting to make noise then Solving a problem -》creating a new one....
note: I didn't touch any screw on my derailleur! It came factory installed. Should run smoothly then! Please help! -

I fully agree to the previous comment.
There is a new idea open for votes and asking for the very same enhancement...
Let us hope this monopoly position will end soon... -

What a stupid response from SRAM. Clearly not a client led company. I’ve just bought a derailleur and assumed adjustments would be per gear. As others have said that is surely a major advantage of electric. Looks like comments will be ignored but posting makes me feel slightly better all the same. Edit - they’ve even closed the idea for new votes!!

I actually assumed this was a feature when I bought my AXS setup -- it would be amazing to be able to adjust around a bent derailleur hanger while out on a long ride. Please please please, SRAM!

I have owned an S Works Epic 2021 now since the beginning of September. The majority of that time it has been under repair as the AXS SRAM gears will not stay in trim even after a new rear derailleur. I paid $12,600 for this bike and then $900.00 for the reverb seat post including tax. Easily the worst bike and set up I have had in 30 years or racing/riding and probably 30+ different race bikes. So very disappointing.
