Trim Option per Gear
Trimming is currently only possible simultanously for all gears. This sometimes leads to an optimal setup e.g. at lower gears while upper gears are suboptimal and would need additional trimming. Introducing a Trim-option per gear would give a perfect setup for the complete cassette.
If the derailleur hanger is non-damaged and the frame is designed to industry frame-fit specifications, trim position should not need to be tuned for individual cogs. That work is carefully completed by SRAM engineers as part of the cassette and rear derailleur design process.

"If the derailleur hanger is non-damaged" bla bla bla... This is the stupidest point of view ever.. Hangers get damaged all the time-- its by design...
Derailleur hangers are designed to go out of spec(sacrificial part).. That is so the derailleur can survive a impact..Hangers are softer by design, while saving the derailleur they will decrease shifting performance once bent just a little(esp with the tight tolerances 12 speed drive trains).. Putting in a per-gear trim option would help out just about every mtb-er at some point...
I just dont get this point of view from this admin/sram... Cost to implement would be near zero.. Perception from the public would be well received. It would feel as if the higher end product really gives you every advantage for setup (especially on a $1000 der/shifter product)...
Before i ever got my eagle axs i just figured "of course you can trim each gear-- why wouldn't they have that???"
Not implementing this is just LAZY-LAZY-LAZY on srams part and if i was upper level management--- heads would roll for just dismissing the voices of the public...

Likleyhood is that a fair percentage of riders will have a slightly damaged (Knocked rear derailleur) within the first 6 months of ownership, or slightly out of tolerance frame....
This would solve those issues, and leave you with happier customers....

I believe that 150 votes for this enhancement and even 19 SRAM customers emphasising their need by adding comments is giving high evidence that something must be wrong with a standard setup. Usually, bike enthusiasts riding a quite expensive AXS derailleur and joining this forum are aware how to correctly setup their bike.
Sorry SRAM, I really love your products and your engineering, but declining this suggestion while saying your best paying customers are too stupid is really poor! -

The SRAM Force AXS is super noisy in certain gears and this is on a brand new Specialized Venge. While you may think that the hard work is done by SRAM, it appears that the manufacturing tolerances between SRAM and frame manufacturer are not tight enough to ensure a perfect setup out of the box. Therefore individual tuning of each gear would be ideal.

Please add this. Shimano's Di2 has had this for years. I was actually disappointed to find out AXS did not feature adjustments per gear. PLEASE ADD!!

Actionally, I was a bit disappointed when I found out that the micro adjustments are global and not „per gear“. For me this is one major advantage of electronic shifting, which could lead to a 100% smooth operation in all gears. Right now I have only three gears (2, 8, 9) making some noises on a 1x12 Eagle, each could be adjusted with 1-2 ticks but to opposite directions.

A no brainer - plz make it happen

I agree, I've got all the gears going good except for three down on the cassette

allow fine tuning of the derailleur per gear, for examlpe i can tune the 4th gear only to shift a little futrther up or down and not affect the previous gears.

Great and really neccessary idea. I have noise from the rear and can not put the chain in the right position

Amen!! I was gonna pose the same question.
Thank you. -

Same Problem here ! Ticking in some Gears. Needs to be solved

Sweet. Then I wouldn't have to fix the other bent parts on my bike.
Would be really cool though.

I am running a 48/35 chainring with a 10/33 cassette.
When in 48-28 there is a clicking noise coming from the cassette as if the rear derailleur wasn’t aligned properly with the 28 teeth sprocket.
Trimming the rear derailleur by moving it 1-2 0.2 mm steps further inwards significantly reduces the clicking noise. This however then induces problems shifting downwards from the 19 to the 17 or from the 17 to the 15 teeth sprocket. Here, shifting is slow and it takes a while until the chain jumps onto the smaller sprocket (the rear derailleur would have to be moved 1-2 0.2 mm steps outwards again to improve shifting here).
Potential causes for this behavior (rear derailleur cannot be adjusted correctly over the entire range of gears) could be a) a bent mech hanger, b) a damaged rear derailleur, c) a loose cassette
a) I checked the mech hanger with a mech hanger alignment tool and it is not bent
b) the bike is completely new and there is no visual damage on the rear derailleur
c) the cassette is properly fitted (checked with a torque wrench 40 nm).
So I agree, being able to trim each gear individually would solve this issue. -

I do think this is a good idea but if you can't get all the gears that usually indicates a bent derailleur hangar. I have the Park Tool DAG 2.2 which fixes the problem but it is expensive. In summary, individual gear trimming could compensate for a bent hangar.

Für die perfekte Einstellung der Schaltung würde ich mir eine Darstellung aller Micro-Shift-Position mit der aktuellen Position wünschen.

This would be great! I have the problem that my EAGLE AXS does not work 100% perfekt, i can not trim the high and low gears 100%... when i could trim every gear seperate it would work much better for sure!

great idea!
I have a trim problem in 8th gear only, being able to trim this would be fantastic.

This idea is what i immediately thought of when i heard of this coming out and when i got it i was slightly confused why it wasnt already intagrated into the system. if this was brought in it would make lives of mechanics like myself and the consumers so much easier
