I wrote support because of exactly this issue and I'm happy they pointed me to this feature request forum. Please add this feature. Only having a single, global adjust is just the same as having a mechanical shifter. Please allow us to make full use of the system. For me, I either can shift properly in the upper or lower gear range. Riding a Force 1x12 on my road bike (looks so clean :D) and missing a gear from the limited selection ist very annoying on mixed terrain. Please make it happen 😇
PS: After reading a few comments by SRAM on misaligned hangers or chain gap adjustment: I think we all know how to set this up properly but I nevertheless went to a bike mechanic. They checked alignment and installed a new hanger just to be sure, but couldn't get it to shift perfectly either. I think it's totally fine to have some tolerance in the system, when there's a tool to deal with it. On a mechanical set, this happens all the time, but you can just slightly overshoot to select a stubborn gear. With e-shifters this is just not possible.
