They have stolen my one week old new Specialized EPIC with upgraded electrical SRAM EAGLE 2021 end of last month in Germany (Duesseldorf). I got in touch with Specialized and they register my bike as stolen, same with Garmin they have a separate homepage where you can do this. SRAM Germany said I need to get in touch with SRAM USA. This I have done and sent the Police report, original Invoice and a picture of my X01 and Eagle Controller with ID Number. After a good communication with the SRAM SUPPORT I wait now if the will and can help me. Why I need to register my electrical parts if no process is in place to help me to get stolen parts back or to make these parts useless for the person who has stolen these. If a bike is stolen the SRAM Dealer should be able with Original Invoice and Original Police Report to merk these components as stolen and then with next log in any update or change to the SRAM device is impossible plus if GPS or personal data are available these are handed out to police. This make sense if I pay between 600 and above 2.000 Europe for SRAM Parts.

UPDATE MARCH 2021: I have been now several times in touch with SRAM USA and they are happy to get all information from me, but I get no feedback or support from SRAM back, even my offer to get straight in touch with local Police dep. is ignored. This is from my point of view an absolute No Go. The customer should pay more and more for a bike and his components but if the bike is stolen, then you get zero support or help at least from SRAM.
